Serious problem with IIS installation

Could someone please tell me where to find information concerning the installation of IIS 5 in win2K and how to solve this problem? I can't seem to start the service in PW Manager and, I also can't display any pages such as using

http://localhost/localstart.asp.

Check your Services in Admin Tools in the Control Panel and see if the IIS Admin and

http://WWW Publishing

services are started.

Check your Event Log to see if it is throwing an error and repost the error.
