Hi every one

In my Internet Cafe some has enabled content advisor for rating and locked it with password. Whenever tries to open a website e.g. hotmail or yahoo content adviser dialogoue box prompts you to provide a password and no ONE KNOWS THAT PASSWORD. That means the machine is not usable. I tried to remove Explorer and reinstall it again but no joy.

I don't want to reformat the machine because it takes long time. I am using Windows 2000 professional.

Please help as soon as.

Try this works in windows, should be same in W2K:

HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\Windows
Current Version\Policies\Ratings

there will be a key there labeled "key", (original isn't it?). That key holds the encrypted content advisor Supervisor password. Delete that key. That will set the Content Advisor Password to blank.
