Hello,
I want to use my serial port (RS232/PS2) for Logitech Quick Cam Express Webcam which is a USB device.
Is there any way that i can connect the webcam to the converter and then plug the converter in the serial port and use the web cam?
Thankx in advance.

Yes, you can plug it in. No, it won't work ;-)

When you use a USB/Serial converter, you effectively have a serial webcam. Now the trouble is that you need drivers for that exact webcam, but for a serial port version. While I have not looked for them, I'm going to guess that they are not available.

I have had many people try various devices with USB/Serial converters, and they were almost always unsuccessful for that exact reason. (Only saw one USB/Serial setup work, but the drivers were readily available for that device).

Sorry to give you bad news, but I hope that this helps! Mudskipper

Quick! Run out and find me a four year-old child: I can't make heads nor tails out of this!"

The good news is...you can add a usb card to your PC.

Hello,
I think we can also use a USB Hub.
Thankx.
