One of our customers connected an Epson 850 serial printer.
Now this is broken and must be replaced.
Unfortunately, I can not read the configuration anymore.
Does anyone know the settings yet?

Connected the printer to what? The maintenance terminal or a tty port for reports?

Is this a cabinet, chassis or a large system? A cabinet/chassis system those settings are through software. A large system those settings are done at the TTY Card level, possibly a paddle board.

These settings would typically be the baud rate and then 8/n/1 for parity.

thank you
I meant printer it self except speed parity and stopp bit what else neddsto enter
Speciallly DIP Switches
I ve got no expiriences that way
Do you have an example configuration or similar

Every printer is different. You will have to get the book on the printer. First you have to know how the PBX is set up and then match the printer to that. I would say a typical set up is 9600 8/N/1. That's all the PBX cares about. The printer needs to match.

Found a soloution internet

Speed 1200
