I had my serial ports 1 and 2 working with printers on Red Hat 7.2 Then I installed 8.0 and cannot print to serial ports.

Any link or suggestion would be appreciated, for I forget where the ports are (ttys1 ?)

I notice the 'tty' group is not listed as a choice to add permisson to a group of users.

Again any direction will help.

Thanks Much

Solved the problem of the invisible serial ports by switching from KDE printing to CUPS system.

I now print to lpt1, lpt2, com1, and com2

Happy day!!
