I'm setting up a network computer to send information to a non-network computer through the serial port. The reason is, I can install anything I want on a computer that is not connected to the network. Therefore, to keep the networkless computer updated, I need to get some data transfer process in place.

Since the data is already in MS Access, I figure the best way is to have Access give the networkless computer the data. Anybody have a quick set of notes with how to connect to a serial port without using MSCommCtl?
