Serial cable to connect Ultra5 to PC

Hi,

I need a serial cable to connect an Ultra5 to a PC.

Where can I get one of those ? Or would it be easier/faster to make my own ?

I would say it would be easier for you to make one if you have available mod-taps.

In case anyone is interested, this is what I did.

I used the two adapters which normally come with new Sun systems - DB25/RJ45 and DB9/RJ45 and hooked up a cat5 cable to them.

I had to reverse several connections in the DB25 connector -

2&3
4&5
6&20

This tool from Radioshack makes it easy to pull out the pins -
