Can someone here please tell me if the Mac minidin serial cables are wired straight through? I need to know if it is a pin 1:1, 2:2, 3:3 etc from end to end?

I'm shooting from the hip but I think a modem cable is straight-through but a printer cable has a crossover, i.e. 'send data' at one end becomes 'receive data' at the other and vice versa.
If you're still interested, I'll check a cable I have here and post again; it may take a couple of days.
