i was just wondering if anyone had any experience with Serebra's MCSE CBT training CD's? They offer the full course for $99.00. Seems quite resonable.

never heard of 'em.

Training always comes down to you get what you pay for... I'd be a little leary of only paying $99.00...

Of course, if you have a good deal of experience and just want to hit on the exam points the training might work out for you.

I ordered some traing from Learn@Hand... well, it wasn't the best stuff, as a matter fact I never completed any of it, but it covered A+, Net+, Cisco, MCSE 2K, etc... it was a huge pack for $199.99.

Since I never finished one section I feel that I wasted my money, the training was slopy, low level, and basic (it put me to sleep).

But it did cover all the points on the tests.

Do I feel that I could have past the tests if I had finished the training and on that gone and taken them? No, it was not enough by itself.

So, if you ask me, I'd say that the 100 package is probably simular and will be very simplistic and not nearly enough to prepare you for the exams.

The MCSE is really tough without hands-on...

IMO, CBTs only meet the expectations of corporate training departments with ridiculously small budgets...

For me, a classroom with labs is the best; for my MCSE NT4, that's what I did. But it was a $15,000 investment for my employer.

I'm doing the self-study thing for W2K and it's taking a lot longer but I anticipate finishing this month...

YMMV...
