I have just bought the serial card IOP3927 from Rayon Tech for multi-port usage(up to 64 port per card.) with 1 F641N box(can handle up to 8 port)

I did the installation on Debian 6.0.4 kernel 2.6.32 I386.

After reboot, it detect the the hardware but I am not able to use tty.

For example, If I connect a modem on the port A, I am not able to connect with minicom. Plus, I don't even know in which tty the modem is connected because there are a lot.

Any help or tips will be appreciated.

If you need any more info let me know.

Thank you in advance.

I think you can reasonably assume that the top-left port is /dev/tty81a. Or possibly the top-right port, if it counts from the right?

Have you successfully installed the etty tool as described in the debian.pdf on that page?

I tried everything possible. Secondly, there is not any tty81a port.
What I have is :
ls /dev/tty* | grep a
/dev/tty61a
/dev/tty62a
/dev/tty63a
/dev/tty64a
/dev/tty65a
/dev/tty66a
/dev/tty67a
/dev/tty68a
/dev/tty71a
/dev/tty72a
/dev/tty73a
/dev/tty74a
/dev/tty75a
/dev/tty76a
/dev/tty77a
/dev/tty78a

I installed the etty program as mention in the pdf file but unable to test with tty ports.

Anybody is using this kind of hardware.
Please let me know
Thank you
