Hello, I am using version 8.3 (report Studio) and am trying to create a report that creates a seperate pdf letter for each of our clients. I've read a bit about page breaks but have not had any success yet. I assume I have to tell the report to create a new page based on the client id or such. So far I only end up with one page and I should have 35+ as seen in my tabular data. Thank you in advance

I'm pretty new to Cognos but I think the path you want to take is creating a page set. Click on page explorer/report pages and drag a page set from the toolbox. This is where I get fuzzy so I apologize I can't step you all the way through the process but I think it involves dragging page set to the work area over page1 then dragging page1 under detail pages. I know it's not perfectly correct but it will get you into the ballpark.

1. Create the report with groups / section
2. Go to page explorer and drag a pageset into the GUI
3. Select the pageset and select the appropriate query in the properties.
4. In properties select properties/grouping property
5. Drag sectionobject into the GUI within groups under ‘overall’.
6. click OK
7. Drag the reportpage within the pageset under the ‘detail pages’.
8. Run the report.
