I have an elite 192 thats installed and working for years. All calls unanswered when in night mode go to the auto attendant. I want to have 2 extensions go to either a different attendand or just the mailbox for thos extensions. Would this be considered a new tenant? How to I ensure that just these two extensions do not go to the same voicemail after hours.

Well, it depends. Are you using dedicated CO lines, or DID's for those two extensions? If so, you can have those numbers ring anywhere you want, including DIT to the extension, the voicemail, whatever.

You say that you want calls for those two extensions to go someplace else... but the question really is "how do they come in?" If you've just got pooled POTS lines, there's really no way to determine where the call was going to begin with. If you've got DID's or a specific POTS line(s) that callers call to get those two extensions, then you can just change the DIT's of those lines.

Sorry, could have been a lot more clear on my original question. All the numbers come off a T1 and the numbers in question are mapped to the specific extensions (via last 4 digits). All the other phones in the system use multibutton phones with cap/car except these two extentions are POTS phones. All calls to the main number come in to one of two attendants. When in night mode all calls go to the auto attendant voicemail and gives a choice to dial an extension. This whole setup is in a mall and I have 2 extions off the mall system to a police substation. I dont want any calls to these 2 extensions to go anywhere other then the police station and their voicemail box. As its configured today, when the mall goes into night mode all calls the police station also go to the auto attendant. I want them to go only to the police mail box, never the attendnat.
Thanks for the response.

Well, if you're doing digit conversion (or even if you're not), set the day ringing with no translation (DIT) (or translate to the same incoming digits), and set the night translation (ANA) to a transaction box owned by the mailbox of the extension you want to get the calls. :)
