separator pages

I am running XP SP2 clients and 2003 server. The server is the print server for a number of printers on the network. When I print a PDF from a client it always prints a separator page. The separator pages do not print with other apps. No separator pages are specified in the printer properties. I have uninstalled Adobe acrobat and installed an alternative PDF viewer. The proble still persists. Any clues anyone?

If this is an inappropriate forum for this post and the admin moves it to another forum could I please be notifed where it gets moved to?
