I would like to have one voicemail for people who call from internal (dialing extensions) and another voicemail for those who call direct using my direct phone number. Is this possible in Voicemail Pro Client?
I have IP Office 9.0.4.0
voicemail Pro client 9.0.4.0
Avaya 9608 phone.

thanks for any help!

Yes.

Create a hunt group - essentially so that another mailbox gets created for either you internal or external messages, your choice, and name it something obvious like "Internal".

In your own user configuration add HInternal as a source number so that you receive message waiting for that hunt group.

Then you need to customize your normal mailboxes callflow. In the Voicemail Pro client, create a leave mail start point for your self. Add a "Route Incoming Call" action and link that to two "Leave Mail" actions, one set to your mailbox and one to the hunt group's. Save and make live.

You didn't say how you normally access messages (*17, visual voices, ...) so there may be a little more but that's a good start.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

In VMPro client in the specifice leave action of your VM box add a "In coming Call route" action, leave the external end open and add a goto action to the internal end.
In the Goto action set a link to the below created group mailbox.leave.
In manager create a dummy group with VM enabled and put your phone as the only member in it.
In manager in your user settings add "V<groupnumber>" and "HGroupname" in the sourcenumber field.
Create a shortcode like SC=*99/TN=?"Groupname"/Action = Voicemail Collect
From you phone dial *99 and record your name and greeting as per user manual.
Now if as internal user touch you mailbox the endup in the group mailbox, a external caller ends up in your own mailbox.
With visual voice on your extension you will be noticed if there is a new message in any of the two mailboxes and you can listen to the messages with visual voicemail.
