Hi all,
I have a web server and email server with a domain name hosting at the ISP. Now I would like to migrate the email server to other data center, i.e. the web server is still hosting at ISP and the email server is hosting at other data center. Both web server and email server use the same domain name. Can it be possible? How can I do that?

Thanks.

I assume you already have the dns "A" and "MX" records set up for the mail server so all you should have to do is edit your mail server's "A" record. It is the one that points mail.yourdomain.com to your server's IP. All you have to do is change that ip address. You do not need to change the "MX" record unless the name of the mail server will be different.
