Separate last name,first name in a cell

I have an excel spreadsheet that was sent to me, where the last and first names are combined within the cell. I need to separate the last name, and cut and paste the first name into another cell on the same row. It looks like the last name is left justified, but the fist name is all over the place as an example:
Jones Davy
Johnson Ben
Johnston Jerimiah
Any quick moves that would help correct this?

Select the cells
Go Data>Text To Columns
Choose "Delimited"
untick "Tab" and Tick "Space"
Make sure "Treat consecutive delimeters as one" is ticked
