Hello Folks

I have a question . I have a requirement of segregation of Production and non production environments. We are going to build separate ESXI clusters for Prod and Non Prod . However i am confused in making a decision around Distributed switches ... Should one distributed switch serving both prod and non prod environments be according to Vmware best practices or should i create separate distributed switches for Production and Non Production environments.

Please note in either case , i am going to have separate VLAN(s) for Production and Non Production environments which means that even in a single distributed vswitch , i am going to have separate port-groups.

Please advice and thanks in advance for help !!!

Here comes polani Once again!!!
