SEP11 Issues

I am wrestling with this product with cutonmers all the time. I find myself de-installing everything except the antivirus portion because it is causing constant network issues and blocking access to server based solutions, even when put in as an exception. I get something working and then the following day it is broke again.
Is anyone else experiencing multiple network issues with this version?

Yep ... feel the pain ---- uninstalled it this morning, 2 servers, 30-ish clients --- probs all over, including GPO's not running, delayed log-ons, no access to server.

Am checking out alternatives, so any suggestions would be accepted gratefully ---- BUT ALSO am looking for best practises that mean the product works

I recall reading that they released a maintenance release fix that is supposed to fix these issues. One of the other things fixed was wireless access, as by default, SEP wouldn't allow you to connect to a WAP.

But yes, I have personally witnessed this several times. There's also a bug that fills up your event logs with crap from liveupdate.
