I am using Groupwise 5.5. I have recently noticed that the sent / received items in my mailbox show as being sent an hour earlier than they actually were. The network clock is showing as the correct time (Netware 5.1). In netware admin if i goto Groupwise system operations the time zone is showing correctly i.e BST will end on last sunday of october. This problem is only happening on internal mail, external mail is being received ok but does show the wrong sent time. It therefore must be something to do with the groupwise clock but i dont know where else to change this?

Is this happening to everyone? On different computers?

Cheers,

Mark ;-)

Yes this is happening to all PC's in the building. Ive also looked at the groupwise diagnostics tools and checked the time zones and also looked at the time on the post office. This problem is also causing my arcserve backups to run at the incorrect time i.e an hour later than they should be.

OK,just to make sure I understand, you checked the Time Zone setting on the GW Domain, Post Office(s), and GWIA (or any gateway). You also checked in GroupWise System Operations the Time Zone setting. You also checked your server(s) (both GW & your Time server) Time parameters>Time Zone setting. All of these are the same & correct. In DS Repair, how is time synchronization on your servers? If you type "time" on your server(s) console, do they agree with your settings (time & time zone & DST)?

Cheers,

Mark ;-)

Also, ya might want to check that the actual time on the server itself is correct
