senmail in IBM AIX server (configuration)

We have IBM AIX machine. We have smtp server. I am able to ping the smtp server from the AIX machine. How can i configure sendmail in this.

Sendmail configuration file on AIX is located in /etc folder.. Configure this file with your current domain name and other parameters.

Remember that your hostname should be FQDN (machinename.domainname.com) before you start the sendmail process..
