I have upgraded from Win98 to XP. I have a minor problem with the location XP uses for my Sendto shortcuts. Currently, XP is using C:\Windows\Sendto, and I want it to use C:\Documents and Settings\PROFILENAME\SendTo . There is a registry setting HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders which specifies the location of the SendTo as C:\Windows\SendTo. If I change this location it gets reset when I restart the computer.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Martin.

1. Download X-Teq from 2. Install, start the default GUI
3. Click the magnifying glass on the toolbar and search for send to.
4. Click on the XQ Shell Folders 4.xpl...the send to folder can be changed successfully from here.
5. Click Apply and logoff from XP and log back in...the send to folder points to the location set in step 4.
