I have a button on my form to invoke an Outlook E-Mail and Populate the To and Bcc fields. This works great. I also want to use an HTML Template as the basis for the wallpaper in the e-mail. I have the full path of the HTML file typed out in my code yet it never picks up this HTML Template.

How do I adjust this to work.

DoCmd.SendObject , "", "", "dd@new.com", "", Text1, "", "", True, "S:\WordTemplates\SHS_Ltrhd.html"

I think you have to use acFormatHTML as 3rd parameter.

Hope This Helps, PH.

You have been misled as to what the TemplateFile argument does. It has nothing to do with the wallpaper for the email.

The TemplateFile argument isn't well documented, but it is used to provide a template for the attached Access Object, such as a report or table. If you output a table in acFormatHTML, and provide a template location, the table will be attached to the email with your custom template as a base.

You might be able to do what your attempting using automation / Outlook.
