I'm trying to copy and paste the text contents of a web page which contains an applet. If I do a straight forward copy and paste by hand then all is well.

Because of the applet, innerHTML is no use. I've also tried using sendkeys but no matter which format I use nothing ends up on the clipboard - even though it works perfectly well when I do it by hand.

As i have the hwnd of the external browser, can I use sendmessage to pass ctrl+c and will that then copy the contents of the browser?

thank you
