Please who knows how I can configure sendmail on a solaris machine to be able to send mails from the unix box to an ms-exchange mailbox.

Sorry, but it seems you obviously still mixup "network"
with "Legato NetWorker".

Correct. But what does it have to do with NetWorker?

Or do you mean: How does NW trigger a sendmail task via its
notifications?

Sendmail must not be tight to NetWorker, that's why i cannot
see that it is mentioned here without any relation to NW.

If this really is the case, may i suggest that more network
related user groups could simply answer this better.
