You need a machine set up to resolve local and remote mail delivery. This could be UNIX or NT and it's known as a "mail forwarding host".
Probably easiest to choose an NT server, install NTMail on it (an interface between SMTP (UNIX Mail) and Microsft mail) and call that your mail forwarding host.

but right now, i have 3 hp-ux version (one 10.20 & two 11.0). i want to setup one machine as what you call "mail forwarding host".
can you give me details on how to do it? i would appreciate any help on this as this is gonna be my first time doing this thing...and i want it right and operational for programmers to use.
and search on sendmail --it's the O'Reilly book you want. Mike
