i am running the latest sendmail and for some reason i can send and recieve mail from my linux box but can only send mail from windows boxes when i try to recieve mail from windows it says that a connection can not be made with the mail server my dns is right and me ports are mapped for 25 and 110 on my router and i can't log in to the server form anywhere please help me thanks for you time

Sendmail has exactly nothing to do with pop (110)

Are you popping from the Linux box? If so, you need to be running the pop daemon.

Try a

telnet localhost 110

If that doesn't respond, you are not. Tony Lawrence
