The situation:
I have a web server, running Apache, sendmail and all the regular stuff. I am hosting a couple domains (virtual hosting - one static IP).
The problem:
When I send an email from one virtual domain (ex: joe@domain1.com) on the server to another virtual domain (ex: bob@domain2.com) on the server (using Outlook for example..) it shows up as coming from 'joe@serverdomain.com' instead of joe@domain1.com (serverdomain.com would be the 'base' or 'main' domain hosted on the server). So basically when an email is sent from any user on any of the virtually hosted domains on the server to any other user on the same server, it does not show it as coming from the user's domain name (@domain1.com), rather it shows it as coming from the server's main domain name (@serverdomain.com).
When emails are sent to anyone OUTSIDE the server, everything is ok.
Help!!
Thank you in advance!
