Hello,
I have sendmail installed via rh7.1 server set-up. I have seen on several post here that webmin makes life a little easier for a newbie to configure sendmail. I have two domains that I would like to receive mail at sales@domainone.net and sales@domaintwo.net

I'm confused a little on what else needs to be set-up for me to get mail from my windows pc using outlook. Is this what pop3 is?

Sendmail Procmail Pop3 daemon

Thanks,stan

Hello,

Well I can receive mail at my domain netscape or outlook But when I try to send mail I have this error:

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'domain@anotherdomain'. Subject 'test', Account: , Server: 'myserverIPaddress', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.7.1 <domain@anotherdomain>... Relaying denied.

What do I need to change to get this working? I added domain to relay domain file but didn't help.
Thanks

You can try this:

goto /etc/mail and edit the access file...

Put your other domains and IP's following along the rest of the file.

localhost.localdomain RELAY
localhost RELAY
127.0.0.1 RELAY
myotherdomain RELAY
myotherdomain2 RELAY
mycomputername RELAY
ipaddress RELAY

Restart sendmail and it should work

Oh and after editing the access file you need to tell it add them to the DB...

Just type:
makemap hash /etc/mail/access < /etc/mail/access

Restart sendmail and it should start working
