I'm using Sendmail Advanced Message Server (Sendmail commercial) and the self signed certificate has expired.
This was placed/signed in use by the install program and I'm having difficulty creating and self-signing a new request. (And Yes I want a self signed request.)
There is an option to "generate" a cert. request on the admin page, but how do I self sign it and where is it placed? I've done this with apache before, so I'm somewhat familiar with the process...
Also, I can't seem to find the right requests/certs to work with. Has anyone ever worked with this?
I see (.crt & .key) in the following directories...
.../smadmin-2.0.0/certs/mail.XXXXXXXXXX.com.crt
.../smadmin-2.0.0/certs/smswitch-ca.crt
/xxx/xxx/ssl/certs/ca-bundle.crt
(I used XXXXX to protect the name.)
OS: RH Linux 6.2
SAMS: 1.0.1
Thanks.
David
