Hi there.

I'm having a problem with sendmail on AIX 5.3. Essentially whenever a sendmail is sent it seems to route through loopback. I'm no expert at sendmail so can anyone point me in the right direction?

sddev1:/etc/mail> sendmail -v xxxx.xxxx@xxxx.com

221 2.0.0 ssdev1.uk.aswatson.com closing connection

There is a line in the sendmail.cf file for the relay:

# "Smart" relay host (may be null)
DShoex1

Which is in the hostfile, and the route for that (route get) says to go via a 137.241.x.x gateway.

Thanks.
