SENDMAIL problem....

When i try to send a mail to AnyOne@MyDomain.be , send mail try to send it to AnyOne@MyDomaine.be.MyDomaine.be
Can somebody help me?

So you use DNS??

Change:

Dm

to

Dm<your domain name>

Post up any more problems.

I forgot this other DNS variable. Make the change as in my e-mail above and if that still does not work change the following:

# my official domain name
# Use this only if you wish to override the default.
#Dj$w.$m
Dj$w.test.com

N.B. obviously test.com is the domain name, substitute for you own.

That doesn't work.... but when i put this line in comment, it work :

# pass to name server to make hostname canonical
#R$* < @ $* $~P > $* $: $1 < @ $[ $2 $3 $] > $4

In fact, i think that sendmail take &quot;MyDomaine.be&quot; for hostname in AnyOne@MyDomaine.be..... am i true?

LeDam,

No is does not take it as your hostname, it will interpret it as a non-local address and send it to your relayhost i.e. your notes server for processing.

Did you say that it now works?

I am not sure if it has a secondary effect but if sendmail works then I doubt it. If you post up your e-mail address then I can send you a sendmail.cf file which works in DNS. You can then perhaps do a diff.

I would not worry though.
