Sendmail Problem

I configured sendmail on my servers, when I tested it, I received sucessful email from one of my servers (which happens to be my NIS master server), however, the others servers were also referncing this NIS server when they send mail out...instead the appropriate hostnames, emails stated root@<NIS server name>

Any idea why .........
