Aix server and no mail is send out anymore. mqueue gets filled and the mailq message reads : deliver: null host name in signature.

sendmail problem null host name in signature.

What version of Sendmail are you using?
If it's 8.6.2 then it's a known bug.
Fix an infinite loop problem caused by null components in the host signature.
Apply sendmail.8.6.3.patch.

It may also be caused if you've recieved a broken DNS response. A mailer selection rule with "host1:host2" where "host2" is the null string could cause this.
