hi,

I configure sendmail for the first time, and I got problem when I send emails to the client of my domain.
I can just send email for some_name@localhost.localdomain
and I can't send to my domain suffix
some_nale@mydomain.com

the MX in the named.conf is well configure , I can send emails to the others mail server yahoo, hotmail.
what is this strange prb?

Look in /etc/hosts and you will see an entree with the ip of the loopback device:

127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost

You should also have a line with your internet ip. This is where you will put your domain name and any aliases such as mail.yourdomain.com. For mail to work on your server, you must have an MX record on a dns server that is accessible from the internet.
