Sendmail/Outlook issues

I inhereted a Sun Ultra running sendmail to replace a dying Tru64. I've gotten the sendmail.cf and all network setting changed to emulate the server it's replacing. The problem is that when a user tries to download/upload email via an Outlook client they are getting prompted for login/password. When they put in their login/password it just goes and tries to login, but returns with a login/password window again. Can't seem to get by this issue. I see popper starting on the Sun running top when the user tries. Is there an authentication config I'm missing somewhere? The user has a Sun account, in addition to their NT. I'm a subcontractor to a government agency, so limited in what I'm allowed to do, as far as configuring the network.

You probably need to install the checkpassword package as well for this to work.

Thanks I'll have to try that first thing Monday. Everythings shutdown for maint. over the weekend, no power=no work.
