Sendmail on AIX 4.3.3

I am currently having problems on a AIX 4.3.3 machine, local mail is not delievered but internal mail (to the same machine) is delieveredd successfully.
When I am trying to send a mail, for example to root I get the following error:

savemail: Cannot save rejected email anywhere: Executable files are not allowed

In the syslog error logs:

Mar 12 10:06:26 mtmp sendmail[44370]: KAB44370: Losing qfKAB44370: savemail panic
Mar 12 10:06:26 mtmp sendmail[44370]: KAB44370: SYSERR(root): savemail: Cannot save rejected email anywhere: Executable files are not allowed

The mail is not delivered, can anyone please help ?

I tried email on 4.3.3 as well but found too many problems. We i migrated to 5.1 it worked like a charm. what you should be testing first is if you can telenet to your SMTP mail server using command lines in aix. if you cann't connect to your server via telnet theres no point in going forward. this test should be on port 25.

i would upgrade to 5.1, AIX 4.3.3 is not supported anyways.

Sendmail on AIX seems to be down several levels from what is current at Sendmail.org
