Sendmail not working

My /usr/sbin/sendmail doesnt seem to work on Solaris 7 server. It used to work until last week.

When I test on command line:
mailx -s "testSend" jones@here.com

it justs sits there and wont send.

Run
mailx -v you@me.com

enter a subject
then some text
finish with a "."

You should be able to tell what it is failing on from the output.....

Has your exchange server been changed?

Try running an nslookup

http://www.yahoo.com.

Check your /etc/resolv.conf and make sure /etc/nsswitch.conf has hosts: files dns.

try /usr/lib/sendmail -v <your email add>

You should see some diagnostic ouput.
