Sendmail issue

We have a webserver that uses a mailform.cgi to send us contact info that is handled by sendmail on the same box. We are running version 8.12.2. For some reason sendmail has started trying to deliver the mail locally rather than sending it to our mail server. Can anyone guide me where to where the issue might be?

If your domain is in /etc/mail/local-host-names sendmail will try to deliver mail for that domain locally unless you are forwading it somewhere else.

That was the first place I looked, but our domain was not listed. Can you think of anything else it could be?

have you check your "smart host" entry since you want to send to your main mail server.
