Sendmail IP literal problem

I have a sendmail server and I'm on the DSBL (Distributed Server Boycott List) because my server dosent function with an ip literal email address such as postmaster@[a.b.c.d]. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Set up a mailertable as follows:

domain.com esmtp:[ip.of.your.server]

Note the [] - for domain literal addressing, so that sendmail doesn't lookup DNS for it.
