Sendmail for NT 3.0

I'm tring to get Sendmail running on a Windows 2000 Server, but Sendmail can not resolve the domain. Using the netdiag.exe utility which is included in the W2K Support tools verifies DNS to be working correctly. NSLOOKUP works, but when you run Sendmail setup it can't resolve. I am currently running Sendmail on an NT and the software works fine. Both the NT and 2000 Server point to the same DNS server, but the 2000 Server does not resolve. Any one run into this?
