Sendmail version 8.13.8 running on Redhat
We have a single domain we cannot send any mail to anymore.
The beginning of the year we had no issues. There hasn't been a change to our network. The domain has two IPs for their mail server. When I try to flush that deferred message, it attempts to send in the proper priority but it states it timed out with both IPs.
Last night we SSH'd into our sendmail server, brought up a terminal and was able to telnet over port 25 into their mail server and send them a message that way.
We did packet capture last night and never saw the MTA try and deliver email to that domain. We saw it deliver when we did it over telnet and saw it delivering normally to other addresses outside of that domain.
I looked in every place I could think of. There is nothing I can find that points to their domain or that IP.
I don't see why the MTA doesn't actually send out the message.
Thanks
James
