I'm having a strange problem while trying to send mail from one server to the root user on another server. The server sending the mail is running AIX 433 ml10 and the server receiving the mail is running AIX 510 ml2. Below are the error messages when I run the mail command with the -v option.
451 4.0.0 Can't create transcript file ./xfh92LpdN44998: A parameter must be a directory.
root@cwsprep... Deferred: 451 4.0.0 Can't create transcript file ./xfh92LpdN44998: A parameter must be a directory.
I've searched the internet for possible solutions but haven't come up with anything. Has anyone else run into this?
