Sendmail Error dbm map "Alias0": missing map file /etc/aliases

I ran the sendmail -bi after this error and am now getting the following error. My server is set up to send mail from root but not receive. I have changed the error message by taking out the actual receiver of the mail and replaced it with "receiving.name."

receiving.name@caraustar.com... caraustar.com: Name server timeout
receiving.name@caraustar.com... Transient parse error -- message queued for futur
e delivery
receiving.name@caraustar.com... queued

Can anyone help?
