Sendmail Child Process

I have been noticing child process of sendmail while viewing runnin procees on my email server
I'm not sure what they mean.
I have denyed the domain in my as spam.

sendmail: Someuserid somedomain.com : user open

sendmail: startup with [xx.xxx.xx.xxx]
