I'm trying to find information on using a full e-mail address (user@domain.com) as a username. Qpopper accepts it fine, but Sendmail doesn't seem to like it at all.
I've been hunting around for a few days trying to find whether or not Sendmail is even capable of this. All I've found is people asking the same question back to 1995, but I haven't found an answer besides using a different SMTP program. I'd much rather not have to replace anything on the box if I don't absolutely have to.
I'm hoping that the solution will be something simple that I've overlooked.
In my sendmail.cf I currently have AuthMechanisms=EXTERNAL GSSAPI DIGEST-MD5 CRAM-MD5 LOGIN PLAIN.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
