Hi, I have a RHEL5 server on which i configured sendmail to send logs to administrator's mail box.
I configured my provider' SMTP server as SMART HOST and it works. Now, as we have an SBS 2003 server i would like to send these reports through our internal exchange server and avoid internet traffic.
How can i configure sendmail?
Thanks!
Alessio Vitale

Set the SBS server as the smarthost instead of the provider host, and Exchange will route the mail as appropriate.

I know that Exchange will bark if you use an internal interface and don't SMTP authentication. So if you have port 25 access from your Linux to Admin's box, you might just use mailertables and not go through Exchange. I would try
the exchange first, however.
