I have installed sendmail version 8.12.5 running on redhat 8.0.The sendmail is working fine.
But currently we are usibg exchange server 5.5 and for scanning mail webshiled v 4.5.
When we tried to do the same for sendmail on linux it's not working.
I isntalled sendmail on linux server and webshiled smtp
v 4.5 on another mechine running windows nt server.
We want incoming mail first reach at webshiled pc and after saccing it go to sendmail server.
But following message is coming on mail log at red hat 8.0 :
NOQUEUE: connect from webshileppc[10.100.100.2]

did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to MTA
where mkp.iti.com is the host name of sendmail server.
and 10.100.100.2 is the pc where webshiled smtp is installed.
At the webshild end message : Mail server is reachable but not responding is coming
Please provide suggestion to rectifiy the problem.
Can webshiled be implementated with sendmail on redhat.
