Sendkeys issue with Internet Explorer

I used SendKeys command in my Visual Basic Script.
Internet Explorer pops up and lets me login using ID tracker for some tags. However for all other items in my HTML source I do not have ID or tag spec. unfortunately so I was ended up using Sendkeys method (lazy method)

But what the heck! Why when I let's say Sendkeys "{tab}" instead of Internet Explorer it jumps to my Start menu at WIN 10!!!

Depends on Mouse location this is functioning which is not reliable at all!

So, what do you suggest me to use? Or do you think that I am not using it properly?

Any idea please? I am totally puzzled!
