SendKeys & NumLock conflict

Can anybody help ?

I am relativley new at using access and I am discovering quite a few bugs.
The main which has me cursing the computer is the SendKeys statment. In a database I am creating at work, whenever I use this my NumLock goes off.
So far the only help I have had is &quot;Dont use SendKeys&quot; >:-<
Fantastic....
What if my only option is to use SendKeys, Can anybody help ?
