I am trying to send an email to an x400 address. I am sending via an x400 gateway. In order to do this the format of the address is the x400 address in quotations followed by the gateway server. eg
"/c=gb/a= /g=mikey/s=mouse/o=test/"@somewhere.com
Notes will even help me set up this address in my address book with its mail address assistant.
The problem is that when I include the x400 parameter /c=, it corrupts the address by removing the quotations as well as the first and last forward slash. The resulting address becomes:
c=gb/a= /g=mikey/s=mouse/o=test@somewhere.com
This does not happen if the /c is left out. However the c parameter(country) is required(as is the first and last slash)
Does anyone know why it behaves in this way and whether there is any way round it?
